WHAT’S NEW!
All last year teams of volunteers worked hard on improving the playing fields. Deadfall was collected, cut and stacked into barricades and bunkers. Roads were cleared and new trails were opened. These volunteers spent alot of time improving the Axis defenses on the D-Day field and also made a sea wall for the attackers to find cover when they advance up the beach.
Now that the spring game has come and gone, we are already getting the field set for the fall game. More brush will be cut and piled to create barricades and to make the field better for player's feet and ankles. The new blockhouse worked very well for the spring game and over the summer it will be improved upon. All through the summer work parties will be invovled with these and other improvements, so we will keep you posted on the happenings at NFP.
