It is expected that all players at NFP adhere to a strict code of conduct which reflects integrity and honor. Most of our play is 'Honor Ball' and we expect all players to adhere to this type of play. Here are the rules for playing on the field:
*
Barrel covers are required for each gun. These must be in the barrel at all times unless playing on the field or at the target range. They must remain in the barrel until the horn sounds for game start and are placed back in the barrel immediately upon elimination from play or sounding of horn ending the game.
*
Face masks must be worn by all players at all times while on the playing field. They may not be removed at all, even if fogged up and you are just wiping them clean. (Use a goggle fan system or defogging spray before going onto the field).
*
All guns must chrono under 300fps.
*
Electronic guns must be set on a semi-auto rate of fire. Full auto is not allowed unless specified for a scenario game.
*
A hit is a break or splatter from a paintball that measures larger than a nickel anywhere on the body or gun. When you are hit you are out. Put your barrel plug in and walk off the field with your gun above your head so other players know you are out and not still in play. A hit is anything on the body or on your gun/hopper. Head shots do count.
*
If you declare yourself as out you must leave the field. Even if afterwards you realize that the ball did not break you are still out.
*
If a fellow teammate hits you, you are still in the game unless you call yourself out.
*
You may not communicate with other players after you have been eliminated.
*
Leave obstacles and fortifications as you find them.
*
No blind firing. You must be looking at your target when you pull the trigger of your marker.
*
No fighting! If you are having a major problem with someone and how they are playing, please report it.
*
Play fair. Call for a paintcheck and have yourself looked over if you doubt a ball has broken on you.
*
Games will start with and end with a blow from a air horn.
*
Boundaries are marked with posts strung with colored boundary tape. While in play you may not leave boundaries.
*
The referee’s word is final!
